Baseball in its purest form can be found at the Little League World Series in Williamsport,
Pennsylvania, where admission is free and hot dogs are $1.00.
For the first time in 55 years, this years series will feature 16 teams instead of the usual
eight. To accommodate this expansion, a second Musco-lighted field Volunteer Stadium was added.
Another first, the Series Final will be televised in prime time. ABC will bring the event to the
nation on Sunday, August 26, at 6:30 p.m.
In addition, the inaugural championship weekend broadcast will include the U.S. Championship on
Saturday on ABC with the International Championship following on ESPN2.
Musco is the official lighting supplier of Little League Baseball®
and co-sponsor of ASAP, A Safety Awareness Program.
