Facility owners at Odyssey Arena hope to put Northern Ireland on the map for international competitions and concerts by world-renowned rock, pop and classical artists.

The new complex, Ireland’s largest indoor venue, features a permanent ice-pad facility hosting a Superleague professional hockey team. A 200-metre running track circles the main floor.

Musco’s lighting designs incorporated Superleague ice hockey standards and requirements for international competition on the running track.

Electrical enclosures have individual on/off fixture control. This control provides light level flexibility appropriate for various events such as gymnastics, basketball, tennis, ice hockey and live concerts.

With a seating capacity of 10,000, interactive displays, theatres and cinemas — and lighting that meets professional standards — the Odyssey Arena is sure to capture the world’s attention. •
