Musco has a long history of lighting Super Bowl games
Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas was host to one of the most exciting Super Bowl games in history. The NFL
championship, broadcast by CBS on Sunday, February 1st, is the single largest television event of the year,
seen by millions of viewers around the world, and was lighted with the quality standards of Musco's
permanent lighting systems. Musco has a long history of lighting Super Bowl games,
going back to Super Bowl XVII, when temporary lighting was provided at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Five
Super Bowls were lighted with Musco temporary lighting services during a 14 year span.
Nine NFL stadiums have permanent lights provided by Musco
Musco last lighted Super Bowl XXXV in 2001, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida,
and will light Super Bowl XL in 2006, when the game is held at Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions built
in 2002. Nine NFL stadiums currently have permanent lights provided by Musco: LP Field,
home of the Tennessee Titans; Bank of America Stadium, home of the
Carolina Panthers; FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins; Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions;
Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots; Lambeau Field,
home of the Green Bay Packers; Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers;
Reliant Stadium, home of the Houston Texans; and Qwest Field,
home of the Seattle Seahawks.
