Gold-medal winning USA softball player Michele Smith’s grit and determination was evident
throughout the Games: 27 and 1/3 innings pitched in three games, 10 hits allowed, 39 strikeouts,
and 0 earned runs allowed. Michele, who is sponsored in part by Musco Lighting, was also a member
of the gold-medal winning USA team at the 1996 Atlanta Games.
