Parks spread out over a 100 square mile area, up to an average drive of 20 minutes one way.
Previous Method of
On/Off
Keys / Staff / Timer System: Keys were issed to coaches for three parks, staff turned lights on / off at one facility, old timer system on
one facility. Lights were sometimes left on all night and security was an issue at the remote parks. Timer on sprinklers
malfunctioned, and by the time staff was able to get to field 30 minutes later, the fields were soaked and unplayable.
Typically saving one hour energy usage per night at 4 of the parks, and 1/2 hour at the
5th. Saving 2 hours of labor for one of the parks per night. Park usages range from 144 days to 208 nights per year.
