Virginia Tech, home of the Hokies, was looking to install lights on their softball field for the first time and had a limited time to get them installed. Tom Gabbard, Virginia Tech's associate director of athletics for internal affairs, stated the energy savings played a part in the university's decision, but so did timing. "We got what we asked to get with the light distribution, and we were pleased with the installation," Gabbard said. "Musco made it happen and for less." Gabbard said Musco's team provided a quicker start-to-finish time on the entire project than Virginia Tech has ever had before. According to Gabbard, everyone at Virginia Tech is pleased with Musco's Light-Structure Green™ and will use Musco again given the opportunity.
