The US Open Tennis Championships, one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world, will shine like never before in 2016—thanks to Musco’s innovative LED sports lighting system.

Musco installed its LED lighting solution on the west courts of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home of the US Open, early last year. Now, Arthur Ashe Stadium—the Open’s main stage and showpiece stadium—features the SportsCluster® System.

The new lighting will deliver significant benefits to players, spectators and fans around the world watching HD broadcasts. The system directs light with pinpoint precision, resulting in an unprecedented uniformity of light as well as a significant reduction of glare on the court. The system also cuts operating costs and dramatically improves energy efficiency, with a 73 percent reduction in energy consumption.
