Estadio Charrúa

In preparation for hosting the Women’s U-17 World Cup, Estadio Charrúa—located in Montevideo, Uruguay—needed LED lighting that was cost effective, would meet FIFA’s requirements for the global event, and would serve as an ideal solution for Uruguay Soccer Association (AUF) Women’s League play for years to come. The AUF opted for the superior project management, expertise, and technology of Musco and its Total Light Control—TLC for LED® system.

• Musco was able to install the system in just six days, overcoming a four-week shipping delay that was out of its control and meeting the critical timeline for the World Cup event.
• The venue achieved FIFA’s light level requirements for the Women’s U-17 World Cup, as well as that of CONMEBOL, the South American Football Confederation, delivering 850 lux (85 footcandles).
