Saratoga Softball Complex

The multi-field Saratoga Softball Complex in Waukesha, Wisconsin was having problems with its existing lighting system, which was three decades old and created blinding glare for players on adjacent fields. As it modernized the complex, the City needed an affordable, technologically advanced lighting system that would prevent field-to-field glare, be easy to operate, and last well into the future. When City leaders saw the performance and cost-effectiveness of Musco’s Total Light Control—TLC for LED® technology, they knew they found their solution.

• Players no longer struggle with glare from lighting on adjacent fields due to the system’s patented glare control and visoring technology.
• City staff can turn the lighting on/off from anywhere, instantly, with the touch of a smart phone thanks to the Control-Link® control system, eliminating the need for late night trips to the complex to manage the lights.
• Maintenance costs are covered through the year 2043 as a result of Musco’s long-term warranty covering every part and all labor.
• Waukesha recognized as a 2018 Gold Medal Award Finalist through the American Academy of Park and Recreation as well as the National Recreation and Park Associationin part through modernization projects, like the new Musco system at the complex.
