The Challenge

Cimarrones de Sonora FC aspires to compete within Liga MX, Mexico’s top professional league—a goal that requires top-tier performance from the club’s players as well as its facilities. The club wanted to equip its 18,000-seat home stadium of Héroe de Nacozari with an upgraded field-of-play lighting system that would provide fans with an unforgettable entertainment experience, meet broadcast requirements, minimise glare, and create the best possible environment for players.

The Solution

Cimarrones de Sonora FC opted for Musco’s Total Light Control – TLC for LED™ system to enhance light levels and uniformity while reducing glare that can detract from the playing and viewing experience. They also introduced Musco’s Show-Light® Pro Venue System with coloured RGBW (red, green, blue, and white) luminaires, enabling the club to dazzle audiences with custom-designed light shows.
