Soccer City Aurora

The Challenge

The Colorado Soccer Foundation (CSF) is dedicated to making soccer accessible to all children who want to play. To expand opportunities for pickup play in an under-resourced Aurora neighborhood, CSF built a six-field complex called Soccer City with help from a local family foundation and the U.S. Soccer Foundation. CSF leaders knew installing LED sports lighting would be critical for the facility to operate at night year-round, but any new system would have to be approved by the City of Aurora and meet strict requirements for light control. A warranty that would minimize maintenance expenses would also be key to keeping Soccer City’s operating costs within budget for the nonprofit.

The Solution

CSF leaders evaluated multiple LED lighting providers and determined that Musco could best meet their needs for both light control and warranty.
