Middle Tennessee State University’s Jonny “Red” Floyd Stadium has undergone several renovations throughout its 80 years of serving the Blue Raiders football team. With its most recent renovation, the school wanted to upgrade its outdated lighting system to one that would animate game nights while reducing energy and repair costs. After analyzing several lighting options, the University turned to Musco’s Total Light Control—TLC for LED™ technology for its ability to improve energy efficiency, produce professional-grade light entertainment, and provide a cooperative warranty for the system.

• Blue Raider fans will enjoy superior HD broadcasting with the LED systems ability to produce more clear and uniform lighting onto the field.
• Energy consumption is reduced by 76 percent thanks to the Control-Link® control system, which can be controlled from anywhere and includes instant on/off and dimming capabilities.
• The stadium won’t pay any maintenance or labor costs well into the future as a result of Musco’s long-term warranty covering every part and all labor for the system.
• Game nights at the stadium will be energized with the stadium’s new DMX Light-Show entertainment which can be included in the Universities usual tradition of dry ice smoke and fireworks.
