Musco Lighting debuts next-generation mobile LED lighting solution at Nitrocross season finale

LAS VEGAS — The world’s most advanced mobile lighting system made its colourful debut at the Nitrocross season finale in Las Vegas.

With a wide range of entertainment features, the new Musco Light™ mobile unit flooded the Nitrodome at Planet Hollywood in colour during the event, which was held March 1-2, and enhanced the Nitrocross fan experience with custom light shows.

The Musco Light™ system provided high-quality, uniform LED floodlighting around big jumps, banked corners, and steep berms – delivering safer driving conditions for drivers and better visibility for thousands of motorsports enthusiasts as they enjoyed Nitrocross’ unique offering of “cars that fly and tracks that thrill.”

“We were excited to introduce the new Musco Light™ unit at the Nitrocross season finale in Las Vegas, setting a new standard for mobile event lighting,” said Chip Pankow, Nitrocross General Manager. “With its advanced features, the Musco Light™ system provided a safer and more thrilling experience for our elite drivers and an unforgettable show for Nitrocross fans.”

The next-generation Musco Light™ mobile unit builds on more than 40 years of innovation from Musco, which has provided temporary and mobile lighting solutions for thousands of the biggest, most high-profile events in sports and entertainment. As a lighting provider to Nitrocross since 2022, Musco has helped the organisation to fulfill its own goal of driving innovation in motorsports.

“Nitrocross has developed a reputation for creating next-level fan experiences, and we are excited for what Musco brings to the table with our newest leap forward in mobile event lighting,” Jeff Rogers, Musco President and CEO, said. “It’s fitting that this technology made its debut in Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World.”
