The Challenge

When Moorpark High School received funding to upgrade amenities around its campus, school leaders wanted to use the opportunity to update the lighting at their football stadium. The field’s previous HID lighting was far too demanding when performing maintenance and affected neighbors with sky glow. Moorpark needed a retrofit solution that would simplify facility management while preventing spill or glare from negatively impacting homes around the stadium.

The Solution

Since working together on projects for more than 20 years, Moorpark had firsthand experience of Musco’s dedication to its customers and decided to return to its trusted partner. They chose to retrofit Musco’s Total Light Control—TLC for LED™ technology. With the electrical components enclosure placed lower on the pole staff members have easier access to perform maintenance, while the patented visoring technology cuts-off wasted spill light in order to preserve darkness for homes neighboring the facility.
