“The apron ramp lighting project at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is one of the most noticeable and talked about projects at the Airport. The before and after difference from installing the Musco lights is phenomenal. Safety and security were greatly increased which is what every airport wants.”

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport
Originally built in 1941 as a military airfield, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) was transitioned to a commercial airport in 1994 and today serves nearly 1.8 million passengers annually. With the airport’s high-pressure sodium (HPS) apron lighting failing to deliver adequate light levels for ground crews and needing constant maintenance, AZA ownership was looking for a new apron lighting system that would solve a variety of challenging issues. AZA’s long relationship with ADB Safegate, a leading provider of airport efficiency solutions that recently partnered with Musco, led it to confidently choose the TLC for LED™ system.
