The Challenge

The U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) national soccer team, The Dashing Eagles, played for decades without a permanent stadium to call home. The association had utilized several facilities, including a junior high school’s cricket field, before FIFA headed the project to build the team’s brand-new venue, Bethlehem Stadium. They wanted to ensure the facility would be top-tier with a lighting system that would deliver superior visibility, minimize spill and glare, and include advanced control features to simplify scheduling and operating the lights for the many teams and athletes using the facility.

The Solution

After researching several manufacturers and studying the various elements of lighting, the association determined Musco would best fulfill its goals.
