The Challenge

Park City High School partnered with Musco over 20 years ago with the installation of its HID lighting system, but school leaders determined it was time for an upgrade. As a school with a long reputation of excellence in athletics, the school wanted a lighting system that would provide an equally exceptional stadium experience for players and spectators. The solution needed to reduce spill and glare, simplify controls and monitoring for school staff, and offer state-of-the-art special effects technology.

The Solution

Due to its longstanding relationship with Musco and trust in its solutions and service, Park City High School opted for the company’s Total Light Control–TLC for LED™ technology along with the Show‑Light® entertainment package. By retrofitting the TLC for LED system to the stadium’s existing poles, Park City High School has been able to save money. Musco’s special effects lighting has also created a more exciting atmosphere for players and fans, the system’s patented visoring prevents spill light and glare from affecting neighbors, and with the Control‑Link® service, school staff can turn the lights on and off instantly, from anywhere, with the touch of a phone.
