Wildwood Park in Sheboygan, Wisconsin serves as the home field to the Sheboygan A’s semi-professional baseball team, as well as two local high schools and several American Legion teams. The field’s existing lighting was outdated and unable to achieve the light-levels needed to satisfy present-day standards, influencing the club to seek out a more technologically advanced system that would transform the ball park into an attraction for baseball fans and players across the state.
After extensive research into a wide array of options, Sheboygan determined Musco’s Total Light Control—TLC for LED system would best achieve the park’s goals. The system delivers increased light levels to satisfy league requirements, its state-of-the-art BallTracker® technology enables players to see and track the flight of the ball better, and the LED lighting produces a professional-level atmosphere that attracts fans and players from all over to experience game nights a Wildwood Park.
“The Sheboygan Athletic Club has made extensive improvements to Wildwood Baseball Park in recent years of which we are very proud, but none compares to the Musco lighting system. Teams and fans have shared with me that the new lighting system has given Wildwood the feel of a professional stadium.”
